The Cost to Remodel with Design Tech Remodeling
A Design-Build Firm
A design-build firm is different from a General Contractor. Design-Build firms provide a seamless, one-stop shop to manage a remodeling project. You might think of the design and the construction of a remodeled kitchen as two separate jobs, but they don’t have to be. A design-build firm works with you from concept design, selection process, and project management, through to completion of the project.
Benefits of a Design-Build Firm
There are huge benefits to working with a company that uses a design-build approach. The process begins by meeting with an interior designer to turn your vision into the ideal floor plan. From there, your designer helps you with material selection and educating homeowners on the different products, and then expedites your product orders. A design-build firm manages every aspect of the project including meeting with various tradespeople, managing schedules, permitting, etc.. These firms also coordinate structural engineering if required. There is unity and cooperation between the homeowners, designers, project manager, and carpenters. This type of firm will have a complete team available to handle every step of the project.
