This young family desired a functional and clean-looking kitchen with more counter and storage space. Shortening up two windows at the back of the house allowed us to wrap cabinets and countertops along the perimeter of the room. The large 9’ island offers a gathering space for guests, an informal eating area for the children, and additional prep and storage area. The cabinet and countertop space was doubled in the kitchen. The Serenity white cabinets and the Maple Fawn wood tones provide an up-to-date look. The white quartz countertops with beige and taupe veining complement the stained cabinets. The classic white subway tile is both functional and timeless. The luxury vinyl plank floors match the wood tones throughout the rest of the house. The homeowners were ecstatic with the design and the fact that it came in lower than their original renovation budget.
